Engineering for A Musical

I’ve recently had the privelidge of mixing, mastering and engineering various parts of Fletcher Crossman’s “The Comic’s Code” which is in development for stage, now!

My Philosophy

Not every artist wants to sound like everyone else.

Some artists are trying to build something more personal — a sound, a message, a sonic world that reflects who they are. Those are the artists I enjoy working with most.

My role as a producer isn’t to impose a style or chase whatever trend is dominating the moment. It’s to help uncover what makes an artist’s voice unique and shape that into a record that communicates clearly and powerfully.

Sometimes that means refining arrangements so every part has purpose. Sometimes it means experimenting with texture, rhythm, and atmosphere until the music develops a character of its own. Production is part craft and part exploration, and the goal is always the same: create a sonic environment where the song and the artist can fully come to life.

Creativity works best when it’s supported by a professional process. I believe in keeping sessions organized, communication transparent, and expectations clear so artists can focus on the music instead of worrying about whether the project will actually get finished.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple:

make records that sound unmistakably like you — only clearer, deeper, and more fully realized.
